Buy it and you will love it. However, this album got me caught up on everything I missed. R.I.P Dan, you are great. This is a great album. I am only 30 and did not get to live through the hay day of Dan.
if you are new to him, and think he only wrote sappy romantic ballads, listen to his first 4 albums. if you are familiar with his work, you already know this. that material is 'the very best of dan fogelberg', in my opinion. i'm sorry, but my personal opinion is that his first four albums were the best of his career. to have only 2 songs represent this early stage of his career, and to call it 'the very best of dan fogelberg' is a travesty.
Have always loved many of his songs and they were all there for me remember. Especially moving since he passed away and was close to my age.
If you need to have your spirits up lifted, this is the CD to listen to. This is a fantastic collection of his greatest hits. There are 17 songs on the CD and it is truly "feel good" music.
